Triple R Ranch
Natural Horse and People Training

Triple R Ranch is dedicated to training and selling some of the best quality horses one can hope for.  We specialize in gaited horses for trail riding, mounted patrol and extreme trail challenges.  Our favorite gaited breeds are Foxtrotters, Rocky Mountain horses. We also have a selection of horses for Cowboy Mounted Shooting and Barrel racing, western pleasure, huntseat, trail obstacle, dressage and jumping, mostly paints and quarter horses. We also have branched out and are retraining off the track Thoroughbreds for second careers. We also show in the local area in Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Showmanship and Trail. One of my side hobbies is three day eventing so often have some nice jumping and dressage horses so there is usually something on our page that will reach most people.  We like to train all our horses to be happy not only in the show ring but also on the trails and have great country around our area for trail riding.  Competing is a great way to socialize the horses and in 2010 I was the Ladies level one Montana Sate Mounted shooting champ.  in Feb 2012 one of my project horses took first at the Extreme Trail horse Challenge at the Gallatin Valley Winterfest and another took second in July 2012 at the Gallatin county fair trail horse battle. In 2013 I qualified for the Worlds in Mounted shooting. I also took an over all championship in Pole Bending in the SMBRA, and an over all ladies Omoksee in the Three Forks Saddle Club. In 2014 I was one of 15 Trainers chosen nationwide to compete in the Ultimate X Showdown.  In 2015 my 3 year old Futurity colt won the all around green division and reserve 18 and over at the summit show series. I train a very limited number of outside horses (prefer to stay within 4-5 a month.) and also raise Australian Shepherds.  Check out our sale page to see what is currently available.  My rates are $650 a month for training which gaurentees 35 hours of training in that month.  I encourage everyone I train for to take the time to have lessons with me while their horses are here in training so when you go home at the end of the month you will feel like you are already a team.  I do not charge for lessons while a horse is in training.
